ok this hack has a few bugs ive worked most of them out... but the one that stands out is the first post in the topic wont have the icq icon.... i dont have any idea why but it wont, so if anyone has any idea as to why please reply to this topic. Thanks

Sorry - what's the point in this hack? This has already been done (a long time ago) and doesn't differ from the original at all.

Another couple of things:
1) Your case of $ICQnum changes, meaning it wont work.
2) Without another step, this hack doesn't actually do anything.

It will work, providing you use the same case when you use it later....(though it's still bad coding practice to do this)



You didn't specify what to do with the $ICQNum variable. How does it get displayed?

We weren't saying that it was pointless, just that it had been done before. You said it as though it was a great new hack, which it isn't. This was probably in the wrong forum - PERL help or chit chat would have been better.
